PRODUCT ADVANTAGES
Intelligent load capacity and voltage regulating transformer is a kind of energy-saving transformer, which can automatically distinguish and send conversion signal by the converter according to the output current and voltage change of secondary side, complete size and capacity switching and tapping position conversion by load capacity and voltage regulating switch. It is suitable for rural grid and urban grid with large seasonal load change which is a new technology and new product widely used by State Grid Corporation.
PERFORMANCE CHARACTERISTICS
The free load loss of transformer accounts for about 45% of the line loss of power system, and reducing the line loss is one of the main ways to improve the efficiency of power supply department. In the rural or suburban junction, the load showed regular changes due to seasonal changes, such as "coal to electricity conversion" in the north of China, busy and slack farming and agricultural leisure, agricultural irrigation and so on.

APPLICATION AREA
1. Automatic capacity and voltage regulating transformer is suitable for areas with great seasonal, time-varying load variation, low annual average load rate and low voltage qualification rate. According to the load characteristics of distribution network in Beijing, it is suggested to be used in the following areas:
(1) Coal to electricity conversion area;
(2) Water conservancy and irrigation area;
(3) Seasonal tourism scenic spot farmyard;
(4)Urban residential areas and office buildings;
(5) Seasonal homecoming areas;
(6) Other areas where the large load varies.
2. The max voltage drop duration up to 40ms shall be allowed in the automatic capacity and voltage regulating area. It is not applicable to regions and users with high demand for power supply stability and political power supply. Such as medical, aerospace, precision equipment production etc..
3. Automatic capacity and voltage regulating transformer can not be used in parallel (voltage rating) operation of the distribution area.
4. The distribution area with an annual average load rate below 20% and large seasonal and time period load change should be changed into the same capacity automatic capacity and voltage regulating transformer.
5. Distribution area with an average annual load rate over 20% and below 40% and large seasonal and time period load change should be changed into the same type of automatic capacity and voltage regulating transformer according to the load.
6. It is advised to choose column installation mode for automatic capacity and voltage regulating transformers with a capacity 400kVA and below, when station room or box transformer installation mode is advised for automatic capacity and voltage regulating transformers with a capacity above 400kVA.
